The Role: Your Impact
As the HR Manager specializing in Performance Management at EDGE Tutor International, you'll play a pivotal role in driving employee performance and development initiatives. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of excellence in education by ensuring that our team members are empowered to reach their full potential.
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement performance management strategies and processes aligned with organizational goals and values.
- Design and oversee the implementation of performance appraisal systems, ensuring fairness, consistency, and transparency.
- Guide leaders on creating Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that cascade from organizational goals down to individual contributors, ensuring alignment and focus.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals and objectives.
- Facilitate performance review discussions and coach managers on providing constructive feedback and development opportunities.
- Identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations, performance gaps and collaborate with learning and development teams to design and deliver relevant programs.
- Analyze performance data and metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform talent management decisions.
- Partner with function leaders and other stakeholders to address performance-related issues and develop action plans for improvement.
- Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in performance management and continuously seek opportunities to enhance our practices.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on performance management.
- Strong understanding of performance management principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective performance management systems and processes.
- Excellent coaching and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Preferably experience with start up, or BPO industry, education sector or multinational environment is a plus.
