An
HR intern supports the Human Resources department by assisting with various tasks related to managing employee relations, recruitment, and organizational development. Here are common responsibilities for an HR intern:
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings on job boards and company websites. Help screen resumes and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Participate in onboarding new employees and ensuring they complete required paperwork.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records in HR databases or filing systems. Ensure that all records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with legal requirements.HR Administrative Tasks:
Provide general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and organizing files. Assist in managing HR-related correspondence and communications.Compliance and Policy Adherence: Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Training and Development: Help coordinate and organize training sessions, workshops, and development programs. Assist in tracking employee training records and managing training materials.
Benefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Assist in answering employee questions about benefits and processing related paperwork.Payroll Support:
Help with the preparation and processing of payroll by verifying timesheets and assisting with data entry.Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in gathering and analyzing HR data for reports, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment metrics. Help prepare HR reports and presentations for management review.
- Learning and Development: Participate in HR training sessions and workshops to gain knowledge about HR practices and industry trends. Seek feedback and guidance to improve skills and understanding of HR functions.
Studying BS. in Psychology or any related program
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented and organized.- Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
