About The Role
Here are the key responsibilities of an HR Generalist:
- Researching and monitoring changes in legislation and developing policies and procedures with the help of more senior HR managers
- 2nd advice and policy escalations
- Oversee second-level process escalations, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to protocols (examples being onboarding, offboarding, etc.)
- Own Workday flows and ensure job change updates affected in a timely manner
- Reporting - mainly using Workday and other trackers to provide insightful analytics. Must be strong on Excel
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops and provide support throughout the HR lifecycle (ie. Annual review training)
Additional
- Write all HR communications for ANZ
- Work closely with in-country HR Manager on workers compensation cases
- Conduct Exit Interviews and share feedback and themes with Regional and local HR Manager Serve as a backup for HR Admin
- Manage Australia Workers Compensation
About You
You're a fit for the role of HR Generalist if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as an HR Advisor with a strong background in labor relations. Familiarity with industrial relations in Australia and New Zealand is an advantage but not required.
- Well-organized and disciplined in applying HR policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Workday (WD) and experience running reports to extract valuable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with compensation structures and the ability to analyze and interpret them effectively.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all HR processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating seminars and webinars.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Sound understanding and application of employment legislation, including award interpretation, to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
