HR COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS SPECIALISTTo provide administrative support to the C&B Manager on payroll processing, benefits administration, billing and vendor payments, government statutory submissions, last pay processing, and annual tax filing requirements.
Send out bi-weekly payroll reminder on submission of timekeeping data to employees.
Prepare payroll instruction containing new joiners, SSS benefits for payout, loan deduction implementation, one-time-payments, etc., then send to C&B Manager for approval prior payroll inclusion.
Perform initial review of the payroll calculation made by the associate then send to C&B Manager and Finance for final review and upload.
Ensure accuracy of government mandated deductions such as SSS, PagIBIG, Philhealth, and Withholding Tax.
Review clearance submitted and ensure completeness before sending to the payroll for final pay processing.
Coordinate with Finance for final pay cheque preparation.
Ensure final pay is computed accurately and released on time.
- 3. Benefits Administration
Ensure benefits concerns and/or requests of employees are attended on a timely manner
Review enrollment forms of new hires for HMO and Life Insurance before sending to vendors for benefits activation
Notify HMO and Life Insurance of terminations for the cancellation of their benefits
Perform initial review of all billing from vendors and prepare Request for Check (RFC) before sending to C&B Manager for approval
Research and analyze benefit plans, programs and policies and make recommendations based on internal and market data.
Ensure monthly statutory contributions and loans for SSS, Pag-IBIG, and Philhealth are remitted and paid on time to avoid penalties
Certify employee's government loans and ensure the salary deduction for the same is implemented on payroll as scheduled
Facilitate annual tax filing including finalizing and submission of mandatory BIR forms (Alphalist, Schedule F, 1601, etc.)
Graduate of Psychology, Human Resource Management and other related discipline
Has at least 2-3 years of experience doing timekeeping, payroll, and benefits administration
Strong knowledge on MS Office Suite especially MS Excel
Exhibits adeptness in dealing with numbers and keen on details
Highly creative and has self-initiative
Ability to work unsupervised and to perform and deliver under strict timelines
Has good interpersonal skills, results-driven with a strong sense of integrity
Analytic, systematic, and highly organized
Good communication skills
