Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a senior individual contributor role within the People & Culture team, serving as a strategic partner to business units, aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives to drive employee engagement, performance, and talent development. This role is critical in implementing and managing HR strategies that enhance workforce effectiveness and support business growth. The HRBP will collaborate closely with department leaders to address HR-related challenges and opportunities, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, ensuring people-focused initiatives align with their specific objectives and challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with business units to enhance communication and understanding of P&C services.

Talent Development

  • Assess organizational culture and recommend improvements to support employee engagement and performance.
  • Collaborate with business units to create personalized development plans for potential successors.
  • Identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans to ensure leadership continuity and address future talent needs.

Training / Learning & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and collaborate with leaders to create targeted development plans.
  • Design and implement programs that enhance organizational effectiveness, including change management initiatives and team development strategies (training, coaching, mentoring, and career development initiatives)
  • Promote continuous learning and professional growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with external training providers.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring that employees receive regular feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist leaders in addressing performance issues and implementing performance improvement plans.

Employee Relations

  • Act as an advisor for compliance to PH Labor Laws and adherence to company policies
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and facilitate resolution in collaboration with management.

Strategic HR Advisory

  • Collaborate with the P&C Director to develop and implement long-term P&C strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on workforce trends, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certification in Strategic HR or Business Partnering highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, demonstrating successful HR strategy development and implementation.
  • Proven success in previous roles related to training / learning and development / organization development / succession planning
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, talent management, employee engagement, and labor laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change, influence decision-makers, and facilitate organizational development.

WORK SCHEDULE

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 2 days per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
