Job Summary:Provide timely assistance to employees and outside publics in the areas of human resource tasks and to update and performs basic HR functions.
- Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists in recruitment efforts such as, sourcing and scheduling of job applicants, administration and checking of psychological examinations, processing of pre-employment requirements, orientation and deployment.
- May conduct initial paper screening/interviews of job applicants. Recommend shortlisted applicants for the next level of interviews.
Ensures that psychological test materials are available when needed.- Assists in checking psychological tests of job applicants.
Collects requirements from successful applicants for final processing.
- Assists in overseeing the inputting and updating of the human resource information system.
Assists in the preparation of HR-related documents for accreditations, audits, inspections and the like.- Coordinates the drafting and printing of the HR newsletter.
Examines employee files as directed by superiors to answer inquiries and provides information for personnel actions.
- Assists in lay outing the HR newsletter and coordinates its printing and distribution.
Performs day-to-day administrative tasks such as, maintaining information files and processing paperwork.- Performs other related functions as deemed necessary by the immediate superior.
- Requirements & Qualifications:
Graduate of a degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, Communication Arts, Psychology or its equivalent.- With at least one (1) year experience in office procedures and basic human resource functions, preferably in an academic setting.
Previous work experience in human resource functions is an advantage.
- Proficiency with computer programs such as, MS Office, Publisher, adobe, etc. is an advantage.
