Description
The HR Assistant is a hands-on role that provides HR support to our customer service centers. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Tasks vary in volume and complexity and include internal auditing, as well as internal and external reporting. They provide answers to questions regarding a broad range of human resources, benefits, and payroll topics. The HR Assistant will be an integral part of the HR Team and liaise with HR Services and CS employees. They adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Responds quickly and accurately to questions from our employees.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for our people, escalates as appropriate.
- Provides training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to customers and team members.
- Creates and distributes standard communications.
- Conducts HR Portion during New Hire Orientation.
- Organize all HR department records, employment files and maintains operation of office equipment.
- Coordinate with payroll on resolution of payroll concerns.
- All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4 year degree.
- At least 3 years of related work experience in Human Resources.
- English language fluency.
- Working knowledge with the processes for Philhealth, Social Security, Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) and BIR.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Power Query).
- Demonstrated ability to deep dive, identify root causes of variances; further execute solutions once identified.

- Can work at night shift and flexible schedule;
- Highly organized and can deal with ambiguity effectively.
- Can work with minimum supervision.
- Proven analytical, data analysis, listening & communication skills.
- Initiative to develop tools, data collection processes.
- Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of local employment law.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.
