Job Description

Requirements and skills
  • Atleast 2 yrs experience as HR Assistant or in a similar HR/administrative role, with experience handling a range of HR tasks.
Preference for candidates with a confident, assertive demeanor to effectively manage HR issues and interact with employees.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and employment regulations to ensure compliance and informed decision-making.
Excellent at managing multiple tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient HR operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional interactions with employees and stakeholders.
Background in construction/real estate is a plus.
  • Duties and responsibilities:
Support day-to-day HR functions and ensure smooth operation of HR activities.
  • Provide clerical assistance to the HR team, including arranging travel (flights, hotels) and handling travel requests.
Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters for employees based in Cebu.
  • Maintain and update both hard and soft copies of employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Process HR documentation and generate reports on various personnel activities, including staffing levels, recruitment metrics, training sessions, grievance handling, and performance evaluations.
  • Organize and manage HR projects such as meetings, training sessions, and surveys. Take and distribute meeting minutes.
Address and resolve employee questions and issues related to HR policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Aid in payroll preparation by providing necessary data on employee absences, bonuses, leaves, and other relevant information.
Properly manage and resolve employee complaints and grievances following established procedures.
  • Handle communication with job candidates, coordinate scheduling of interviews, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Conduct initial orientation sessions for newly hired employees to integrate them into the company.
  • Assist recruiters with candidate sourcing and keep the recruitment database up-to-date.
Other tasks may assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Supplemental Pay:
  • 13th month salary
