Job Description: HR & Admin Officer
  • Position Overview

The HR & Admin Officer will lead the HR and Administration unit, overseeing various functions including compliance with labor laws, payroll management, training and development, recruitment, and employee benefits administration. The candidate will ensure that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and maintains a productive and positive work environment.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Labor Law Compliance

    - Ensure adherence to the Philippine Labor Code and related regulations.

    - Manage and resolve employee relations issues in compliance with labor laws.

  • Regulatory Compliance

    - Oversee compliance with DOLE, PHIC, HDMF, and SSS regulations.

    - Ensure timely submission of mandatory reports and contributions.

  • Payroll Management

    - Supervise the payroll process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

    - Handle payroll-related queries and discrepancies.

  • Training and Development

    - Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

    - Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate program effectiveness.

  • Recruitment and Staffing

    - Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.

    - Develop job descriptions, interview protocols, and selection criteria.

  • Employee Benefits Administration

    - Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

    - Ensure employees are well-informed about their benefits and handle related inquiries.

  • Performance Management

    - Implement performance appraisal systems and ensure regular feedback is provided.

    - Address performance issues and assist in creating improvement plans.

  • Policy Development and Implementation

    - Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

    - Ensure policies are communicated effectively and adhered to.

  • Administrative Oversight

    - Supervise administrative staff and manage office supplies and services.

    - Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.

MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulatory compliance.

Experience with DOLE, PHIC, HDMF, SSS regulations and reporting.

Proficiency in payroll management, recruitment, and training development.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a leadership role.
