Job purpose:
The HR Admin will assist the HR department in carrying out various HR-related administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department's daily operations. The HR Admin will play an essential role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring the timely processing of payroll, and managing employee benefits and leaves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and maintain employee confidential records, including personal, employment, and benefits information.
Coordinate and manage new employee onboarding by preparing new hire paperwork, coordinates orientation schedule, and assisting with initial training.- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and processing new hire paperwork.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and answering phones.
- Manage employee benefits programs and ensure timely enrollment, including medical, and other employee perks.
Assist payroll by accurately entering employee data, calculating deductions, and etc.- Respond to inquiries and questions from employees related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Coordinate and manage employee leaves of absence, including Sick leave, emergency, disability, and personal leaves.
- Ensure compliance with NLRC and DOLE.
Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in HR administration.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of HRIS systems and experience in assisting payroll concerns- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Physical demands and work environment:
The HR Admin will primarily work in an office environment and must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, use a computer keyboard and mouse, and talk and listen on the phone. The deadline-driven HR environment can be fast-paced and challenging. Expect overtime and weekend work in rush periods.
