Job SummaryThe Housekeeping Administrative Assistant ensures that guests of RedDoorz and Prov Suites enjoy a comfortable stay by maintaining clean, welcoming, and orderly accommodations. It involves direct coordination of cleaning activities, staff supervision, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day housekeeping operations.
Guarantee the provision of professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests.
- Address guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff based on workload and priorities.- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching or training as necessary.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and make schedule adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage and track inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.- Coordinate timely replenishment of supplies by assessing needs.
Maintain and oversee the proper maintenance and repair of rooms and housekeeping equipment.
- Conduct quality checks and follow up on deficiencies or complaints to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Monitor water & electricity consumption of units.- Ensure maintenance of storage and work areas, ensuring cleaning tools and equipment are complete, clean, and operational.
Address promptly any issues or shortcomings in cleaning performance.
- Implement corrective measures and follow-up procedures.
Provide training and orientation to new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and service standards.- Prepare and send reports, memos, and other documents as required by management.
Attend meetings and provide timely and accurate reports.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
Professional
- Tech Savvy - knowledgeable in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Strong organizational and multitasking skills- Customer-oriented and friendly
Physically and mentally fit
With initiative and can work unsupervised- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment operation.
Must be amenable to work 6 days a week
