Job Description- SUMMARY: Your main job is to make special meals for individual or families. You will plan, cook, and prepare meals that match exactly what the person or family likes to eat, considering their diet and lifestyle. It's important to be creative, pay close attention to details, and be flexible to make different kinds of food that people enjoy.
In charge of prepping food and plating dishes according to a menu specification. Duties include buying, preparing food and maintaining sanitation standards.
- Working with the family to ensure that food are completed according to request and on time
Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Ordering groceries and kitchen supplies, as applicable
Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.- Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
Cooking menu items with the request of family head
- In-depth knowledge of food handling best practices and cooking methods.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Aptitude for multi-tasking.
With at least 2-3 years experience in cooking different cuisines- Can speak English/Tagalog
Must be organized, neat, resourceful and efficient
- Willing to learn and follow instructions, open to learn to cook different types of food variety
Willing to stay-out work location in San Juan.- Work Schedule: Saturday day-off
