- We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to assist with servicing our vacation rental portfolio as a strong hospitality team member. Zipstay's Hospitality Team manages beautiful rental homes and boutique hotel units, and we strive for perfection in all aspects of a guest's stay! In this initially part-time, later full-time (after 90-day training), hourly, and permanent position, you will work independently to assist our guests in a friendly and professional manner; interact with cleaning crews, and ensure any issues/repairs with our properties get resolved. You must be comfortable with remote communication, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be fluent in English (both written and spoken), and be tech-savvy.

- About the Role
This is a remote, hospitality position. This is a contract role. We have a high daily volume of emails, chats, text messages, and you must be comfortable speaking with guests and vendors on the phone. Although we are fully remote, our team is fun and supportive and working to constantly improve our processes!
Assisting guests during their stay, or answering questions about the properties before a reservation is made
- Writing friendly and creative reviews / responding to guest reviews with kindness and unique content
Addressing any issues with current guests during their stays- Coordinating daily tasks with cleaning crews and maintenance vendors
Purchasing products needed for daily operations
- Filing invoices and processing payments into our internal system
Reviewing property descriptions and suggesting improvements
- What skills and experience do you need
Motivated as a self-starter who is ready to dig in, hustle, and find solutions- The ability to multitask and switch modes depending on the day, shift, and situation
Meticulous when reviewing reservation details to catch potential mistakes and glitches
- Work under stress and be able to resolve any issues in a friendly manner
De-escalate situations with grace- Personal charm when speaking with prospective guests; Willing to take the time to answer questions with patience and politeness
Have a proven track record for great customer service experience
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, you can explain complex issues in simple terms and adapt your tone for different users. Your grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail are always on point
Experience with booking platforms including AirBnB, VRBO, Expedia, Booking, and Tripadvisor- Experience with hotel reservation systems is a plus
Punctuality and flexibility. Zipstay is a small boutique-style team with an impeccable response time. We never miss a phone call, and always respond instantly if possible
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
Experience using Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Chat, Google Voice and open to learning new platforms
- Nice to haves, but not necessary.
Experience with property management and troubleshooting property-related issues
