Position Overview:As a Home Health Case Data Entry Specialist you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing patient data, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and complies with regulatory standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity will play a crucial role in supporting our home health services.
Accurately enter and update patient information into electronic health records (EHR) and other databases.
- Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Identify and correct data entry errors and inconsistencies.
- Generate reports and assist in data analysis as required.
Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity.- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient records and data management.
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (required)- Active RN license (required)
Previous experience in home healthcare, case management, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, reimbursement systems, and documentation requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
