Submit credentialing applications through insurance portals for clinicians
- Gather and organize necessary documents for credentialing
Monitor and follow up on credentialing applications to ensure timely approval- File claims with insurance companies for reimbursement
Post payments received from patients and insurance companies
- Generate and send invoices or billing statements to patients
Track the status of submitted claims and follow up as needed- Review and resolve denied or rejected claims by contacting insurance companies
Match payments to claims and resolve discrepancies
- Follow up on unpaid or overdue accounts, arranging payment plans if necessary
Experience in medical billing and credentialing, preferably in home health
- Knowledge of insurance processes, claims submission, and resolution
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills
- Familiarity with billing software and insurance portals
Flexible and willing to work night shifts- Immediate availability for employment
