Maintaining and improvement of HVCS product reliability and performance
Job Scope:
For both Cable & Cable assembly manufacturing
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervisor high voltage testing labs VCPS and VCPH
- Problem solver on HV-test complications related to HVCS products
- HVCS trainings local HVCS (test) Engineers
- Responsible for training and release test operators
- Responsible for maintenance local high voltage testing labs
- Responsible for high voltage testing labs safety and reliability
- Responsible for future expansion high voltage testing labs
- Identifying local HVCS Product Performance Improvement/NPI/CI-tasks etc.
- Optimizing test protocols based on data analysing test results & reporting
- Supporting complex (HV) return goods complaints.
Authorities
- Authorizer local HV-testing labs (PH)
- Leads HV-test competency (PH)
- To maintain safety & reliability of local HV-testing labs
- Identify nonconformity related to product reliability & safety
- Verifies local ECR/DCR-decisions on product performance consequences
Background
- BS degree either in Electrical or Electro-mechanical courses, or any engineering related courses
- Background on mechanical-design and machinery development is advantage but not a gating item for this position.
- Minimum 5 years experience in high voltage testing. Experience in research & development is a plus factor.
Skills/knowledge
- Knowledge on machine safety (related EN 50191, EN-418, IEC61310-1, IEC60204)
- Excellent command of English language both oral and written
- Computer literate: MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- 3D software design modelling (Solid Edge) is preferred
- Able to make summary reports about investigations and test results
- Works in a structured and disciplined way to maintain his personal / co-workers safety
- Electro & mechanical background (engineering mindset)
- Works accurate and precise
- Practical and hands-on
- Able to read technical and abstract drawings
