Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Helper Electrician. The successful candidate will assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This is an entry-level position that offers an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development in the field of electrical work.
- Assist in Installation and Maintenance: Work alongside experienced electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Material Handling: Assist in the procurement, organization, and handling of materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical projects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Follow best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition. Report any faulty tools or equipment to the lead electrician.
- Conduit and Wiring: Assist in running conduit and pulling wire to appropriate locations, following electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Troubleshooting: Learn to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues under the guidance of experienced electricians.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including electricians, contractors, and project managers, to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school or vocational training in electrical work is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength and stamina, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment and materials.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
