Job Description

Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for Helpdesk Tech Support who can work with us full-time and on-site!

Where JEG Tower, Archbishop Reyes, Corner Acacia St., Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City, Cebu

Are you the go-to person for tech troubleshooting and support Join us as Helpdesk Tech Support and bring your skills to a dynamic role where you'll tackle tech issues and keep our partner's systems running smoothly! Some of the things we expect you to do are to:

  • Solve Tech Issues: Use remote support tools to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems with ease.
  • Manage Tickets & Requests: Efficiently triage and classify incoming requests to keep workflows smooth and clients happy.
  • Update Documentation: Keep client info, ticket notes, and tech documentation organized and current.
  • Identify & Improve: Spot opportunities for tech improvements in customer environments.
  • Stay Current & Connected: Engage in training and research to stay on top of the latest technology.
  • Support When Needed: Monitor alerts, handle escalations, and be ready for occasional after-hours support.

We would need you to be or have the following:

  • You don't have to know everything, but a solid foundation in tech support is key. Ideally, you have 1-2 years experience in a helpdesk or similar role, plus knowledge of some (or all!) of the following:
  • Microsoft 365: User management, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
  • Desktop troubleshooting, MS Windows, and Active Directory.
  • Network know-how: IP addressing, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Hypervisors like Hyper-V, VMware, and remote desktop services.
  • Familiarity with Windows 811, Windows Servers 2012current, and Linux (bonus!).
  • Backup software, firewall configuration, and helpdesk ticketing systems.
