Heavy equipment electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems heavy equipment. They execute troubleshooting particular damage in equipment, and ensure safety compliance. Electricians have expertise in various electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations.
Assist Chief Mechanic for monitoring of all equipment status and conditions of electrical systems - Repair & replace of broken electrical wirings for all equipment's -Other task assigned and instructed by Chief Mechanic and Plant & Equipment Manager
- Sets up the pre-processing equipment (e.g. calibration, cleaning) to start equipment operation
Controls and adjusts equipment settings based on equipment operation manual or as advised/required by Platform Technician- Coordinates and collaborates with Heavy Equipment Operators for the smooth operation at the pre-processing area and to ensure optimum output is regularly achieved
Inspects the equipment regularly, tests the operation of equipment periodically, and reports problems encountered to the Platform Technician or Platform Officer
- Reports and fixes problems/issues encountered in the equipment operations immediately (for those authorized repair and maintenance only)
Conducts thorough and regular checking of equipment to spot any related issues- Organizes the tools and equipment and tracks the inventory regularly
