- Administer and configure healthcare information systems to support clinical and operational needs.
Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems related to healthcare systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and IT teams to identify system requirements and implement improvements.
Manage data integrity, including data entry, validation, and reporting within healthcare systems.- Develop and generate reports to support healthcare operations, quality assurance, and compliance.
Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on system usage and functionality.
- Ensure systems comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other data security standards.
Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
1+ years of experience as a Healthcare System Analyst or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.- Proficiency with healthcare information systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills specific to healthcare environments.
- Experience with data management, reporting, and healthcare analytics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff.- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, data security, and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA).
Certification in healthcare IT or related areas (e.g., CPHIMS) is a plus.
