What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Healthcare Operations Specialist to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing patient flow, coordinating complex testing procedures, and developing an online educational platform for patients. This role requires a blend of operational prowess and digital fluency to modernize patient care and improve clinic profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and redesign patient flow processes to reduce wait times and modernize the patient experience.
  • Ensure effective coordination across departments for seamless patient transitions and complex testing procedures.
  • Streamline diagnostic testing processes, such as imaging and labs, to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with third-party facilities to ensure timely scheduling and result management, minimizing delays.
  • Identify and implement improvements in clinic workflows to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor and optimize key performance indicators like appointment scheduling, patient throughput, and profitability.
  • Design and launch a comprehensive platform providing virtual patients with resources on treatments, tests, and procedures.
  • Integrate the platform with existing clinic systems for seamless patient access and consistent communication.
  • Work closely with the billing department to ensure accurate coding and revenue capture.
  • Act as a liaison between administrative, clinical, and IT departments to ensure effective implementation of operational changes.
  • Educate clinic staff on new processes and the educational platform to ensure widespread adoption and understanding.
  • Ensure all processes, protocols, and educational materials comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and CMS standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years in healthcare operations, with a strong background in patient flow management and clinic coordination. Experience in developing patient-facing digital tools is a plus
  • Advanced project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in online content development and educational resource creation.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Technical skills include familiarity with learning management systems, medical scheduling software, and clinic management systems.
  • Fully fluent in English
  • Ability to commit long-term and full-time
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time)
