Head of Technical Innovation

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Technical Innovation is responsible for planning and overseeing Information Technology-related projects and solutions. He or she shall ensure that all projects are completed timely, within budget and addressing the business requirements. The role is responsible for ensuring that innovations and solutions are implemented to drive Elite Havens overall vision, goals and business objectives. He or she plans and designate project resources, monitors progress and manages stakeholders in the entire project lifecycle. Thus, works closely with internal departments and vendors, gathering requirements and translate them into Technical Requirements needed for the development of new project implementations and change management of existing projects.

The breadth of the role requires an ability to shift between technical and business consulting, by managing the big picture goals and simultaneously coordinate people and processes across a range of projects.

• Determine and define the project scope and objectives for the project development team.

Identify the resources needed to achieve the business objectives and manage them efficiently.

• Act as an internal business consultant by providing sound advise and innovative solutions

Collaborate with managers to determine accurate time, cost estimates, forecasts and ensures budget is within target.

• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

Communicate project updates in a consistent manner to internal and external stakeholders on strategy, adjustments and progress.

• Utilize industry best practices, technology and standards in the project execution, monitor progress and adjust when necessary.

Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.

• ABOUT YOU

• Higher education or a minimum of Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology and other related area of study

At least five (5) years of progressive and leadership role in technical project management

• Technical business consulting and product innovation experience

Must have the depth and breadth of operational proficiency, who can act as a consultant and business advisor of the Information technology department

• Must have the ability to customize and design solutions, product portfolio for continuous innovation

Previous experience in .Net and PHP development

• Strong systems development expertise

Experiences in agile, waterfall and scrum implementation is desirable

• A holistic approach in driving innovations, solutions and transformations

Excellent analytical and communications skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage resources efficiently

Comfortable working in a multicultural work environment

• Can start immediately

This role shall be based on-site, in our Makati CBD office.
