Head of Procurement (AVP)

Job Description

• The Head of Procurement plays a key role in achieving the Bank's financial objectives by implementing cost-effective strategies for procuring goods and services, managing supplier relationships, negotiating and managing contracts, and mitigating risks.
• This position involves leading and managing the company's procurement and sourcing functions, including overseeing strategic planning, execution, and optimization of procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary goods and services for the organization's operations.

Qualification

• At least five (5) years of experience in procurement or supply chain management roles
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations
• Familiarity and expertise in the end-to-end procurement process, including the use of relevant procurement systems and tools
• Experience holding progressively responsible positions that demonstrate leadership and decision-making capabilities
