Job Summary:
As Head of Non-Financial Risk for ING Hubs PH you will play a crucial role in managing and refining the compliance and non-financial risk agenda of the entity by maintaining a robust risk structure by raising the necessary level of awareness at all levels and alignment on guidelines and regulations within external and internal teams, assuring that positive a risk management culture is adopted and embedded within the first line and second line of defense.
The Head of Non-Financial Risk acts as a partner to the business lines in setting and achieving strategic objectives within agreed risks appetite boundaries for the entity.
Job Purpose:
Leads a collection of teams with similar or related purposes to ensure the organization remains compliant with all relevant laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Monitors for and interprets relevant rules and regulations and oversees and monitors the translation and implementation of relevant of such rules and regulations into company policy or procedure.
Job Opportunities:
- Translate the organization's risk appetite into principles and objectives for specific business lines or functions and providing second line of defense support for functions in charge of implementing such principles and objectives, developing global frameworks for risk management procedures and challenge risk management execution at a global level, with the right to veto business decisions if necessary.
- Participate in the development of corporate risk strategy as part of the overall business strategy for a large global organization, providing leadership and challenge to test the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas and insights to support the strategy formation process.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk strategy within the context of the broader business strategy for a global business area or function, ensuring appropriate integration across national borders and with global corporate strategy.
- Communicate the organization's mission, vision and values, and its strategy for achieving these from a risk perspective set and communicate the strategy and broad action plan for delivering these within a strategic function inspire a diverse global workforce to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.
- Seek opportunities to enhance and streamline processes through automation, centralization, and removal of redundant processes across ING Hubs locations
