Job Summary: The Head of IT will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT function within the organization. This role requires a strategic leader who can align the IT department's goals with the organization's mission and vision, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems and infrastructure. The Head of IT will lead the IT team, manage IT projects, and drive innovation to support the organization's growth and operational excellence.
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
Technology Management:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all technological infrastructures, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and infrastructure.Project Management
: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Implement best practices in project management, including risk management, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
Cybersecurity
:- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization from cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Innovation and Improvement:
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.- Continuously assess and improve IT processes and systems.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
Communicate IT strategies, projects, and performance to senior management and other stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (a Master's degree is preferred).- Extensive experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading IT teams and projects.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and processes.
- Experience with cybersecurity practices and IT governance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives and drive organizational growth.

Knowledge of mobile banking and payment systems.
