MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Director of the Integration Management Office is a subject matter expert in the M&A lifecycle, responsible for leading global strategic business transitions and integration initiatives. Overseeing the entire integration process from diligence through post-integration, this role builds and maintains a consistent delivery methodology across workstreams. The Director manages a team of Integration Specialists, ensuring program delivery, maximizing value creation, and focusing on customer and employee experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading global acquisitions and complex transactions, with a proven ability to manage workstream accountability and present strategic insights to senior leadership.
TASKS:
- Lead transaction integration programs with Corporate Development and key stakeholders
- Provide insights into M&A integration needs, budgeting, and resource planning
- Maintain reporting and scorecards on performance against plans and IMO Project Plans
- Develop and refine M&A due diligence and integration playbooks; lead post-integration reviews
- Build and lead due diligence services for targeted insights and improvements
- Focus leaders on key value drivers aligned with the deal thesis
- Provide decision support to executives and team members
- Direct post-merger integration workstreams, reporting, and risk management
- Present data to senior stakeholders and coordinate with counterparties
- Mobilize internal and external resources, manage program risks, and mentor team members
QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:
- Proven experience of working on a global integration, merger or acquisition in a program or project related role
- 10+ years applicable work experience
- Experience within Strategy or Finance preferred
- Exemplary communication, time-management, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple integrations, and related issues/risks
- Highly motivated and flexible, with a sense of urgency and inclination to action
- Default bias toward action and an unrelenting sense of urgency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under multiple, tight deadlines
- Comfortable working through ambiguities
