Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of IT to oversee and enhance our global IT infrastructure and operations. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, security, and strategic alignment of our IT systems with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in IT governance, infrastructure management, information security, and service delivery, with a vision to drive innovation and operational excellence across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
- Oversee global IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across all locations.
- Optimize multi-location datacenter operations to support business continuity and growth.
IT Operations & Service Delivery
- Lead global IT operations within the ITIL framework for efficient service delivery.
- Centralize IT services to promote collaboration and operational effectiveness.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in IT processes and systems.
Information Security & Compliance
- Establish and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Achieve and sustain ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certifications.
- Implement advanced cybersecurity protocols, including SIEM systems, endpoint protection, and regular penetration testing.
Strategic IT Planning
- Align IT strategy with corporate objectives through close collaboration with senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to meet business goals.
Networking & Infrastructure:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced networking solutions.
- Oversee networking projects, including infrastructure upgrades and expansion.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in networking and IT operations.
Financial Management
- Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Manage annual Capex and Opex to align with organizational priorities.
- Risk Management & Business Continuity
- Proactively identify and mitigate IT-related risks.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical operations.
Security Operations (SOC)
- Establish and oversee the Security Operations Centre to ensure robust threat detection and response.
- Lead incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and monitor adherence to them across the organization.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of IT professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
Project & Vendor Management
- Manage large-scale IT projects, including new office setups and system upgrades.
- Oversee vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to secure the best value.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations.
Driving Innovation
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, including AI, and explore their applications for business advantage.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 12 plus Years Proven senior IT leadership experience in global IT operations.
- Expertise in outsourcing/offshoring or BPO environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and data privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with ERP system management and client deliverables.
Skills:
- Advanced project management and IT governance skills.
- Strong knowledge of global IT infrastructure and service delivery models.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- Proficiency in AI technologies is a plus.
Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
