Job Summary:The Guidance Associate will support the school's counseling department in providing academic, career, and emotional guidance to students. This role involves working closely with counselors, teachers, students, and parents to ensure a supportive educational environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of student support programs.- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions
Assist students in setting academic and career goals and developing action plans.
Maintain and update student records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies.
- Schedule and organize appointments and meetings for the counseling department.
Prepare and distribute informational materials to students and parents.
Assist in planning and coordinating workshops, seminars, and events related to student development.- Help develop resources and tools for student support programs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology or a related field.Experience:
Previous experience working in a school environment or with children/adolescents is an advantage. Experience in counseling and guidance is a plus.Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, Organizational skills and attention to detail, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with student information systems.
