The Group Finance Analyst (FP&A) will be responsible to support the Group FP&A Head and Manager in enhancing financial performance and strategy through data analysis, reporting improvements, and effective communication with stakeholders, providing insights and tools to drive business performance and strategic decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights into business performance, trends, and key metrics.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Data Visualization & Dashboard Development
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, MS Excel or similar platforms to present financial data clearly and effectively.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate complex financial data into user-friendly visualizations.
Reporting Improvement
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting, identifying opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and implement new reporting tools or methods to improve visibility of financial metrics across the group.
Stakeholder Communication & Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, to deliver actionable insights and support business decisions.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support to various business units as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Technology or any related field.
- Preferred experience: Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A), Costing Analyst, Data/Business Analyst (3 years, or less if the candidate is highly qualified).
- Experience working with financial / business data is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems, tools, and software (e.g., ERP, MS Excel, financial modeling software, BI).
- Strong numerical aptitude and very keen eye for details.
- Passion for processing large datasets and transforming them into business-useable information.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams and levels.
- Strong leadership potential.
