The role:
The Graphic Design Team Lead must assume responsibility for the creative output of Intrepid Singapore, maintaining standards for all communications and the Intrepid brand integrity through effective management of our design team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure that our brand remains cutting edge, positions us ahead of our competition and adheres to our internal best practice standards.
Support the Merchandising team to ensure that the brand is consistent, optimal and current on different platforms.
Work from internal briefs to generate ideas/concepts to present and implement and produce effective onsite and offsite campaigns in line with company objectives.
Mentor and support the team of Graphic Designers to ensure their skills remain up to date and that they are leveraging current tools and processes to support departmental goals
Communicate creative briefs and concepts to the GD team as well as set and manage expectations around work allocation support Graphic Designers to manage their time effectively in order to meet the demanding requirements of the business
Manage all aspects of art direction, design, copywriting for all design related projects.
Quality control of all GD team creative outputs in line with brand standards - including proofing and reviewing deliverables and project processes.
Who we look for the ideal profile:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
3 -5 years experience as Graphic Design - Team Lead is a plus
Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and other multimedia software for layout, video editing, illustration, and motion graphics.
Can work with a team of multimedia artists to create graphics, photo, and video content.
Strong visual, design, and spatial skills with art, design, graphics, video, and photography experience.
Understanding of e-commerce, social media and digital platforms.
Writing background is a plus.
