GRAPHIC DESIGNER

This role is part of our eBay production team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Twitch, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Design Production team on the eBay Australia account. The work produced for this client will emphasise digital marketing and content channels. In this role, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, working day-to-day to deliver assets that meet client briefs and reflect DEPT high design standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand project requirements and concepts; working on BAU Production briefs from start to finish
• Produce finished artwork with diligence and care
• Create digital assets with understanding the objectives of the brief.
• Use feedback from your peers as well as leaders to improve standard of work
• Apply industry standards and stay updated with the trends.
• Work closely with the account service and merchandising team to deliver multiple campaigns whilst juggling priorities per resource planner.

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

• With 2-3 years of experience, having a background in an agency is a bonus.
• You will have a genuine love for the medium, and in particular digital marketing
• Keen attention to detail, along with a solid understanding of visual elements, layout, and composition.
• Proficient in design softwares such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator, and a bit of a knack for basic After Effects.
• Ability to create small web placements
• Highly skilled in image retouching
• Good at communication skills
• Self-driven
• Has a desire to embrace new skills and challenges
• Some understanding of digital marketing, CRM content best practices and trends is a bonus

Candidates with prior experience in digital agencies will be given special consideration due to their familiarity with the industry and its unique challenges.
