The graphic artist job description consists of the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities:
- Designing and producing digital graphics using computer software applications
Establishing graphical standards for the creation of graphical elements, layouts, and presentations- Developing advertisements and layouts for magazine, newspapers, brochures and more
Creating original artwork for publications like business cards, stationery and etc.
- Working on new designs using the latest tools like Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
Covering a wide variety of Graphic design work from logo design to business card designs- Creating original artwork for digital communication and marketing uses

- Creating concept designs for companies or organization
Designing special effects for print/digital media- Resizing images to meet web requirements and other image editing changes
Working closely with the production team to ensure that the job is completed within time and cost constraints
- Conducting research on new design trends and techniques while keeping up with the latest technology in the industry
Checking the quality of their work for possible mistakes and making any corrections accordingly.

- Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint effectively
Must be familiar with vector based programs like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Photoshop- Basic knowledge of the creation of simple graphics, their design and layout for print, web, mobile applications, and other uses

- Excellent communication skills and strong self-motivation
Knowledge of overall graphic design processes like layout and typography; must be familiar with Adobe InDesign.
