- QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field preferred but not required- A portfolio that includes a diverse range of projects that highlight your proficiency in different design areas, such as 3D layout and rendering(highly prioritized), branding, typography, web design, print design, etc.
Familiarity with web design tools like HTML, CSS, and UI/UX design principles can also be valuable.
- Strong creative and design skills, includes having a good eye for aesthetics, understanding composition and layout, typography, color theory, and the ability to generate original and visually appealing concepts.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for understanding client requirements, presenting design concepts, and effectively working with others.- Willingness to adapt, learn new skills, and stay up-to-date with industry trends is important
Significant experience in Adobe Illustrator is highly preferred, ideally with knowledge/experience using Sketchup/ 3D layout and render, and doing video editing.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating visually engaging designs for websites, mobile applications, user interfaces, marketing materials, digital advertisements, and other IT-related projects.
Applying design principles, color theory, typography, and other design elements to achieve aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly designs.
- Branding and Visual Identity
Developing and maintaining brand guidelines and visual identity systems. Ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
Analyzing project requirements and constraints to develop innovative design solutions that meet business objectives and user needs. Adapting to evolving design trends and technologies while maintaining a balance between creativity and usability.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Communicating effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather feedback, incorporate revisions, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaboration and Communication
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, marketers, content creators, and project managers. Clearly articulating design concepts, presenting ideas, and incorporating feedback to achieve project goals.
Conducting thorough quality checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements and brand guidelines. Making necessary revisions and modifications as needed.
- Industry Knowledge and Continuous Learning
Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices. Actively seeking opportunities for professional growth, attending design conferences, and participating in relevant training programs.
