Global Product Master Data Specialist (BSP)
- Our team in APAC currently has an opening for a Global Product Master Data Specialist in Data Excellence BSP to contribute and verify information during Global Product - Hierarchy maintenance (Product mapping) process. Your responsibility include:
- Performing GPH process related tasks validating, changing, enriching GPH in Global Product system
- Managing change requests relating to GPH mapping
- Ensuring product mapping adherence to central governance guidelines
- Validating completeness and consistency of data fields from requestors in accordance to guidelines and Product Portfolio Steering (PPS) decision tree
- Escalation of GPH creation/change requests to nominated PM decision owners or if required to global GPH Information Owner in case of issues or queries
- Ensuring closure of queries and issues
- Enforcing Brenntag standards and guidelines during central GPH processes at group level and act as communication partner to regional/local counterparts to answer questions and provide guidance
Qualifications
- Basic chemical and industry specific knowledge
- Experienced in master data creation and change processes within an operational framework
- Sound understanding of GPH (or its equivalent concept) structure and usage with business processes / reporting requirements on group level
- Good understanding of the GPA (or its equivalent) processes and their impact on regional/local business processes (ideally)
- Analytical skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis in case of issues
- Experienced with Master Data tools and processes.
