Geothermal Operations Manager

Responsibilities: Formulate and/or enhance, and implement the O&M plan for the existing and future geothermal facilities of the company. More specifically:

• Lead and manage a team of operations and maintenance personnel, including power plant operators, technicians, and maintenance crews.

Develop, implement, and monitor operational plans and procedures to optimize geothermal plant performance and efficiency.

• Ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations, adhering to all relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Oversee management, including production optimization, well-testing, and preventive maintenance.

• Manage plant maintenance activities, scheduling outages, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring timely completion of repairs.

Monitor and analyze plant performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain budgets for the geothermal operations department.

Manage and mitigate operational risks, including environmental incidents, equipment failures, and safety hazards.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance, production data, and maintenance activities.

Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in geothermal energy production.

• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in geothermal operations.

Represent the company at industry meetings, conferences, and with regulatory agencies (as needed)

• Provide technical assistance in the development of future geothermal facilities.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Geothermal, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of [5] years of experience in geothermal operations management.

Proven experience in leading and motivating a team in a high-pressure environment.

• Strong understanding of geothermal plant operations, management, and power generation principles.

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements for geothermal facilities.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Proficient in the use of relevant software applications for plant operations and data analysis.

Willing to be assigned to various project site
