We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of General Manager for our Insurance Brokerage. The role entails formulating and leading the execution of business strategies to realize the collective mission and vision of the organization and its constituents. This role requires grit, resilience, and empathy to uphold and inspire a culture of excellence and collaboration, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry. Experiences in profit and loss management, as well as people and relationship management are basic requirements for the role.
Optimize revenue, manage resources, and uphold high employee standards.
- Build and maintain relationships to understand the operations, and provide best solutions relevant to the business.
Identify risks and opportunities, present actionable insights, and foster open communication.- Implement organizational goals, policies, and daily operations to ensure maximum productivity.
Drive cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and innovation in operations, sales, and marketing.
- Close deals, new businesses and renew existing contracts.
Negotiate terms and conditions with partners in accordance to the best interests of stakeholders.- Drive cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and innovation in all business teams and aspects.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide valuable insights and recommendations on business strategies and direction, and dominate new markets.
- Attain budget commitments, and conquer KPIs set for the role.
Prepare reports and master presentation to Top Management, and appropriate committees.- Work hand-in-hand with Top Management to ensure that business operations and strategies are aligned with the organization's goals, mission, and vision.
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Financial Management or related field- Preferred: Passed Basic Non-Life and Life Insurance Courses under IIAP
Proven track record in Business Development and General Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance operations and related administrative functions
