Job Summary:The General Manager for our construction company will oversee and coordinate all aspects of our construction projects and operational activities. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The General Manager will also be responsible for managing staff, fostering client relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and growth objectives.- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure successful project delivery.
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Supervise and manage all construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects adhere to specifications and timelines.
Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Prepare and manage budgets for projects and operational expenses.- Oversee financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to ensure financial targets are met.
Approve expenditures and manage procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- 4. Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, train, and mentor staff, including project managers, site supervisors, and administrative personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure effective communication across teams.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to support employee growth and development.
- 5. Client and Stakeholder Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.- Address and resolve client concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and meeting project expectations.
Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and quality control.
Streamline and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.- Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory management, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize business operations.
- Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects and teams.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: Php150,000.00 - Php180,000.00 per month
