JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the organization's accounting system.
Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to predict future financial performance.
Report to management regarding financial activity of the company.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance & Accounting Head.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (e.g. CPA, CMA) license is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles is preferred.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
