We are seeking a talented and analytical Game Mathematician and Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis, with a passion for online gaming and casino games. This role will involve designing and analyzing game mechanics, performing statistical analysis, and providing insights to optimize game performance and player experience.
Game Design and Development:- Design and develop mathematical models for new casino games, including slot machines, table games, and other online gaming products.
Create and balance game mechanics to ensure fairness, excitement, and player retention.- Collaborate with game designers, developers, and product managers to implement mathematical models into game development.
Probability and Statistical Analysis:- Analyze and validate the probability and statistical models of existing and new games.
Ensure games comply with regulatory standards and internal fairness guidelines.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret player data to understand behavior, preferences, and trends.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor game performance and key metrics.
- Optimization and Insights:
Identify opportunities to optimize game features, mechanics, and player engagement through data-driven insights.- Provide recommendations to improve player retention, conversion rates, and overall game profitability.
A/B Testing:- Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features and changes to game mechanics.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.Player Segmentation:
Conduct player segmentation analysis to identify different player types and behaviors.
- Develop targeted marketing and engagement strategies based on player segments.
Churn Prediction:
- Use predictive analytics to identify players at risk of churn.
Develop and implement strategies to retain high-value players.
Perform revenue forecasting based on player data and game performance trends.- Provide insights to the finance and marketing teams for strategic planning.
Fraud Detection:- Develop and implement algorithms to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
Monitor player activity for patterns indicative of fraud or cheating.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the online gaming or casino industry.
Proven experience in designing mathematical models for casino games.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong understanding of probability theory, statistical analysis, and game theory.- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
