As an FXMM Senior Processor, you will be responsible for the correct, complete and timely processing and administration of foreign exchange and money market confirmations and settlements. You will additionally act as a role model for your team and be responsible for efficient and productive interaction with your Amsterdam colleagues. Your key responsibilities will be:
Monitor and process new, amended and cancelled trades
Matching of FX, MM and NDF Confirmations
Investigate unmatched confirmations and monitor stuck trades
Affirm and confirm trade details with clients
Raise and resolve trade and settlement discrepancies
Monitor and process control queues
Execute settlements
Check end of day reports and tasks logs
Work closely with Front Office/Sales, Data Management, Liquidity management and Support to ensure smooth processing of trades
Create reports for regulatory reporting and management information purposes
Review processing procedures and propose improvements to increase efficiency
Implement and align changes to processes as required by new regulations, projects, or policies from head office
Your Work Environment
You will work in the dynamic world of Financial Markets and will focus on Operations. The Global Service Organization Financial Markets is one of three locations globally responsible for the processing of all trades concluded by ING Front Office traders globally. Although you will need to complete daily tasks individually, the team relies heavily on each other to ensure all problems and tasks are completed in a timely fashion. You will also be working in close contact with the Amsterdam-based Operations team and Front Office/Sales located in Asia, Europe and US in order to ensure all tasks are completed well and on time.
Who Are We Looking For
You are task-oriented with strong attention to detail. You can handle large volume of trades and you are comfortable in a dynamic, sometimes hectic environment. You actively follow-up on all tasks/actions requested of you. You have a background in Finance, Economics, or other technical trade and have a proven experience in financial markets. Also, you are willing to work occasionally on public holidays and during EMEA service hours . As you will be part of an international team composed of people in both Amsterdam and Manila, you need to enjoy working in a culturally diverse team.
Personal Profile:
Must Haves:
3-5 years relevant work experience within FM Operations
MS Office
Study completed in finance, economics, accounting, or other technical study (documentation provided)
Proven in-depth knowledge/experience of FM Products - particularly FXMM and Derivatives products
Proven in-depth experience with Matching (TRAM), SWIFT, Calypso, BOTS, MUREX
Understanding of Risk (Market, Credit, Counterparty, Operational)
Nice to Have:
Proven experience with reconciliations, settlements and investigations
