Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Our client, a well-established global bank, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development to join their growing tech team. This role is ideal for a skilled engineer who excels in building scalable and secure backend systems while also contributing to the frontend. You will work with modern technologies like Java, Spring, and React.js, playing a key role in designing and implementing robust solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring;
• Strong hands-on experience in frontend development with React.js;
• Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) for data storage and retrieval;
• Experience with version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments;
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus;
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills;

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in financial services or banking domain is a plus;
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes;
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams;

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring to support various banking applications;
• Collaborate with frontend developers to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.js;
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs for integration between the frontend and backend systems;
• Ensure high-performance, secure, and reliable data handling and processing through the backend infrastructure;
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support;
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability across both backend and frontend layers;
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack in a timely manner;
• Maintain best practices in coding standards, testing, and continuous integration (CI/CD pipelines);
