Job Description:
Position Summary:
As a Full Stack Developer contracted by the Client, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will collaborate with our internal teams and other offshore resources to deliver high- quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. Your expertise in the AWS cloud environment, combined with your proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React, will be crucial in driving our projects to success. This is a remote position requiring alignment with the NYC time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Python for the back end and JavaScript (React) for the front end.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
Extensive experience with React for front-end development.
Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and libraries.
Experience in the FinTech industry or similar.
