The Client

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, they are a team of AI and machine learning experts that focuses on accelerating AI adoption, simplifying processes, and improving AI precision for businesses.
The Role

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our vibrant team. This role offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of AI development, delivering customized solutions that unlock significant value for a diverse client base.
As a key player in our AI Engineering team, you'll collaborate with customers to research, develop, and deploy a variety of AI solutions. You'll work alongside a team that includes AI PhD experts and seasoned AI Engineers, providing you with strong support and opportunities to grow. This role is perfect for someone who wants to stay hands-on with coding while also engaging directly with customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to design and implement customer-specific AI solutions, contributing to the expansion of the company's platform.
- Engage with cutting-edge generative AI technologies, conducting Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to explore new technologies and evaluate vendor products or services.
- Assist in defining technical requirements, performing estimations, and facilitating technical discussions.
- Participate in and contribute to the development of technical design strategies and discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the platform alongside the team.
- Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and help shape its direction.
- Support the enforcement and updating of best-practice development standards and processes.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Expertise with web development frameworks/technologies, such as Next.js and React.
- Experience in deploying, maintaining, and securing applications using major cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL database technologies.
Nice to Haves:
- AI experience, including knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), fine-tuning, optimization, and hosting.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI solutions.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday 6am-3pm PH Time
Work Location:
- Homebased ; Should have a strong internet connection (minimum of 20 MBPS); Equipment is provided
