PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- STRATEGIC PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION
- Attends routine meetings with other Division Heads and the Management for continuous planning and improvement of respective division as agreed by the Management.
- Plans the terminal operations in coordination with the Group Head and Group Managers and if necessary to other departments for efficient and safe accomplishment of transactions.
- Works hand in hand with the Group Head on establishing, amending and updating the necessary departmental policies and procedures, work instructions and training materials.
- Holds routine meetings with Group Head, Group Managers and Terminal Managers for updates and discussion of continuous improvement of terminal operations.
- Maintains proper communication within the division and other departments as well as external customers.
- Performs terminal visits to conduct spot audit to check on terminal's compliance on policies and procedures.
- Represents the company on different occasions involving third party meetings and coordination.
2. OVERSEE OF OVERALL TERMINAL OPERATIONS DIVISION
- Stock Control (Inventory) - Approves Four Point Analysis of marine tanker transactions as presented by Group Manager Stock Control.
- Logistics - Approves additional hauler for accreditation to be endorsed to CEO.
- HESS, Facilities and Maintenance
- Conducts regular review of operating budget prepared by the Group Head to check and control the planned budget.
- Manages concerns, monitors compliance to reportorial requirements and prepares concise reports to CEO in relations to operating expenses, administration and budgeting of various projects for the improvement of Terminals.
3. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Builds and leads an effective and diligent management team.
- Oversees the performance of all heads of departments within the division through established performance evaluation system.
- Provides systematic reporting and strong leadership while motivating the team for continuous improvement of performance and output.
- Approves necessary trainings on handling terminal operations and enhancement of soft skills of employees and coordinates with HRAD.
- Recommends promotions or movements within the division that would be beneficial for both the employee's career development and the company.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Petroleum, Mechanical or any Engineering courses.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Preferably with experience in Oil and Gas industry.
- Expertise on petroleum depot operations.
- Proven experience in managing large teams, resolving conflicts, and driving operational performance improvements.
