Position: FUEL COST TRADING ANALYST Analyzing market data: Monitoring and analyzing fuel price movements, market trends, and related factors that impact fuel costs.
- Developing trading strategies: Using market insights to develop and implement trading strategies to hedge against fuel price fluctuations and manage risk.
Risk management: Assessing and managing risk associated with fuel price exposure through trading activities and financial instruments.- Forecasting: Utilizing historical data and market analysis to forecast future fuel price movements and make informed trading decisions.
Reporting: Generating reports and presentations to communicate fuel cost analysis, trading performance, and recommendations to stakeholders within the organization.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing energy trading activities.
Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and risk management to align fuel cost trading activities with overall business objectives.
- 2. What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accountancy, Math, Statistics or any related field- Proficiency in using analytical tools, spreadsheet or excel software and trading.
Experience in fuel industry is an advantage
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Proven experience in fuel cost trading, purchasing, or supply chain management.
