Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet guests and check them into their rooms, ensuring that all required information is collected and entered into the hotel's computer system
Handle cash and credit card transactions, and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
Manage guest reservations, ensuring that all rooms are properly assigned and that any changes to reservations are communicated to guests
Answer guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating any issues to the appropriate manager as needed
Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure that rooms are cleaned and ready for new guests in a timely manner
Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and restaurants to assist guests with their needs
Demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
Develops added value customer service programs regarding Front office services
Can communicate to guests about hotel promotions, local attractions and points of interest.
High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or related field is a plus
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to remain professional and courteous even in challenging situations
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in computer programs and the ability to learn new software quickly
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently as needed.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Prior experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
