Front End Developer

The developer's prime responsibilities are to:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects and developers to create visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces for a range of internal web-based applications.
• Participate as a member of a distributed team across Asia, Pacific and Europe
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, incorporating user feedback and industry best practices.
• Maintain style guides and UI Component libraries to ensure consistency & scalability.

Development Responsibilities

• Participate as a constructive member of a distributed team across Asia, Pacific and Europe
• Analysing requirements
• Delivering high quality front-end solutions in the iterative development of our applications
• Work closely with Architects to ensure the feasibility of design implementations and provide quality inputs on front-end development best practices.
• Ensure all documentation (e.g. requirements, design, testing, operations, interface, user guide, etc.) is developed & maintained
• Maintain style guides and UI Component libraries to ensure consistency & scalability.
• Serving as level 3 escalation for production issues.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

High-level coding skills in . NET, React & Node.js

Excellent abstract problem solving and vision

Innovative thinking

Good communication both written and oral English across multiple constituencies.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
• At least 5 years experience in Front End Development
• Experience with .NET C#, React & Node.js.
• Experience calling Restful APIs
• Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub
• Evidence of being a successful influencer across different teams and cultures.
• Experience of working in the Insurance sector will be highly regarded.
