We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing long-form content, such as podcasts and YouTube videos, as well as creating engaging thumbnails to enhance the visual appeal of our content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form videos, including podcasts and YouTube content, ensuring a seamless and professional final product
- Craft eye-catching thumbnails that effectively represent the video's content and captivate viewers
- Demonstrate expertise in video editing techniques and software, drawing inspiration from the styles of renowned creators like Alex Hermozi and Ali Abdal
- Collaborate closely with our content team to understand and execute the desired style and branding for each project
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed-upon timelines and budgets
- Provide insightful feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the quality and performance of our video content
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in video editing, with a strong focus on long-form content and YouTube videos
- Proficiency in industry-leading video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with the editing styles and techniques used by top content creators in the industry
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent branding and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the content team
- Experience working with US-based clients is a plus
