FG Cold Storage Corporation operates full service cold storage facilities which are strategically located near major ports and highways within the Greater Metropolitan Area. It caters to food manufacturers, processors, traders, and restaurants, ensuring their valued inventory ranging from fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, poultry, and processed food products are kept fresh and in excellent condition.
FG cold storage plants are equipped with freezer and chiller storage, air blast freezers which are capable of freezing goods in less than four hours, reefer van plug-in facilities, and leasable processing areas. Its combination of free stacking and mobile racking systems, along with a customized program for stock control, tracking and documentation allow for quick and efficient stock receiving and retrieval.
- Upon the instruction of the storekeeper/ checker, provide an empty pallet/ tower for incoming goods.
- Assist the Storekeeper/ Checker in seeing to it that goods are loaded into pallets/towers in the correct manner.
- See to it that the defective pallet/ towers are not used and report the same to the immediate superior for appropriate action.
- Transport loaded pallets only with the instruction as to room and allocated position inside the Cold Rooms.
- Assist for the prompt reporting of any local movement inside the cold rooms.
- Ensure that goods are transported safely.
- See to it that broken cases are repacked and reported for action.
- Perform preventive forklift and other material handling equipment operations as prescribed by management.
- To do other tasks assigned to him by the immediate superior and the other officials of the company.
