In charge of day-to-day truck and garage operations.
Oversee daily operations to ensure adequate resources for scheduled work.
Supervise workloads, schedule, tasks and other related functions of the logistics team.
Assign drivers, schedule vehicles and book temporary staff as needed for absences or holidays.
Recommend approval and review the documents such as attendance, purchase order, job order, mechanic's logbook and vehicle damage report.
Maintain and manage all databases relating to transportation activities
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise between employees or during truck trips.
Ensure compliance of safety standards in transportation functions.
Ensure maintenance of the trucks in good running condition.
Maintain spare parts and garage tools properly
Coordination with the purchaser for required spare parts
Keep track of subordinates performance and conduct test drive for those employees who are eligible for advancement.
Ensure new hire garage employees are trained before the deployment.
Maintain the garage's cleanliness and order.
In charge of documents renewal required for the garage's continued operation
Conduct post-delivery checks to confirm completion of tasks, return of equipment, and proper documentation.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints involving the driving team promptly.
Create strategic plans to improve the department's process and performance.
Initiate cost efficiency measures in transportation operations.
Build internal and external customer relationships.
